The use of the Middle Ages herbs nowadays
Main Article Content
Abstract
The reason for choosing the topic, the use of medicinal plants is not widespread enough today. We want to encourage people to use more and more herbs, to have the courage to seek the help of a phytotherapist if necessary and to dare to use natural remedies.
In this article, during our secondary research, we present some interesting facts related to the use of medicinal plants in the Middle Ages and modern times, as well as a small part of the medicinal plants used in the Middle Ages. In the course of our primary research, we conducted in-depth interviews with 4 specialists dealing with medicinal plants about the situation related to domestic and foreign medicinal plants.
Our goal is to introduce some of the medicinal herbs used in the Middle Ages more widely, focusing on those that are still used today. In addition, we would like to explain what legislation currently applies to the collection, cultivation, and use of medicinal herbs, as well as what we should pay attention to when processing them. We also consider it important to explain what laws apply to phytotherapists.
