Abstract

As a means of coping with stress and as a way of compensating for sedentary work, sport has perhaps never been more important and indispensable in maintaining health today than at any time in history. Although technological devices mostly provide convenience, some devices and applications are specifically designed to motivate users to exercise regularly.

This paper is a non-exhaustive presentation of these technological options, intended as a source of ideas and inspiration for those who find it difficult to “just” start exercising.
