Természettel való kapcsolat, életmód és bio-pszicho-szociális jóllét összefüggéseinek vizsgálata idősek körében

Absztrakt
A természeti környezet és a természettel való kapcsolat egészségvédő szerepét számos kutatás vizsgálta már. Jelen kutatás célja a természettel való kapcsolat, az életmód, a mentális egészség és a testi tünetek komplex összefüggésrendszerének feltárása 60 év feletti személyek körében hálózatelemzési megközelítéssel.
A kérdőíves vizsgálatban 107 idős felnőtt vett részt. Az alkalmazott mérőeszközök a Mentális Egészség Teszt, a Természettel Való Viszony Skála rövid változata, egy fizikai tüneteket mérő skála, valamint az Egészséges Életmód Skála voltak. Az életkor kontrollálása mellett végzett korrelációs elemzések szerint a természettel való kapcsolat szignifikáns, pozitív összefüggést mutatott a mentális egészség több dimenziójával, valamint az egészséges életmód valamennyi vizsgált területével. A hálózatelemzés eredményei alapján a természettel való kapcsolat központi, protektív szerepet tölt be az életmódváltozók hálózatában, amelyek közvetett módon kapcsolódnak a mentális egészséghez és a testi tünetek alacsonyabb szintjéhez. Az életkor nem mutatott közvetlen kapcsolatot sem a mentális, sem a testi egészséggel, de közvetetten, az életmódon és a természetkapcsolaton keresztül kapcsolatban állt az egészségi változókkal.
Eredményeink alátámasztják a természeti környezethez való kapcsolódás komplex, rendszerszintű egészségvédő szerepét, és rámutatnak a természetalapú rekreáció jelentőségére az időskori jóllét előmozdításában.
